The Cut Collective
The Cut Collective is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young Black men to reach their highest potential. In partnership with local barbershops, which often serve as the social center for men in the Black community, we offer free haircuts and opportunities for young men to participate in our innovative LeaderShip, MentorShip and EntrepreneurShip programs. Our programs are designed to instill confidence, awareness and self-esteem in young Black men so that they become leaders in the spaces they occupy.
Programs and Services We Offer
The Cut
When you look good, you feel good.
It starts with The Cut. Not only is a good Cut the foundation for proper grooming in young men, it boosts confidence and self-esteem. In partnership with local Barbers, The Cut Collective offers free haircuts and grooming tools at select barbershops and other locations throughout the community.
The Skills
When you have the right Skills, success is eminent.
The Cut Collective’s Skills program takes a unique holistic approach to instilling health, wellness and life skills into our youth. Our approach to mind, body and soul care is thoughtfully delivered by trusted professionals in a language our youth can relate to.
The ‘Ships
OwnerShip, LeaderShip, MentorShip, and EntrepreneurShip
The ‘Ships is a collection of unique programs designed to prepare our young Black men to be role models and leaders in every space they occupy. Our programs help maximize potential by creating awareness, improving confidence and self-esteem.

At The Cut Collective, we are committed to improving how we experience our community by empowering young Black men. We believe that through empowerment, young Black men will realize their full potential and become leaders in every space they occupy. Our goal is to strengthen the foundation of our communities, positively impact the way young Black men experience life, and change the way the world experiences Black men.
